And the winner is ...
Under the motto "Less pollution - more cohesion", more than 1,000 employees from all areas and management levels of Schwarz Group took part in a large-scale cleanup campaign. On the occasion of World Cleanup Day 2021, the corporate group had called on all employees to contribute to less waste in their region on September 17 as part of its holistic plastic strategy REset Plastic. Together, all colleagues removed around 2.4 tons of waste from the environment – a great achievement!
The total of 111 teams were spurred on by the prospect of winning a joint team event. As a special reward, shopping cart chips were distributed to all participants, which were produced on site in cooperation with the start-up HolyPoly from the collected recyclable materials.
This year, the main prize went to the team from Kaufland Germany in Möckmühl, which collected the most waste both in total quantity and per capita. Thank you for your efforts and have fun at your team event!
