Schwarz Group offers its employees a total of 95 million euros in Covid-19 bonus payments in thanks for their work

Once again, Lidl and Kaufland, the two retail divisions of the Schwarz Group, are giving their employees a one-off bonus amounting to 30 million euros. Every store and logistics employee will receive a €220-voucher at Easter. Marginally employed staff is to receive a €75-voucher- As early as Easter 2020, a bonus payment amounting to 30 million euros was paid to employees followed by another 35 million euros on Christmas. In total, more than 170,000 employees in Germany will be offered the bonus payments amounting to a total of 95 million euros.

This payment is about recognizing their unrelenting hard work and efforts and thanking each individual for the important part they have played in supporting the business”, says Klaus Gehrig, general partner of the Schwarz Group.
