Emergency aid for the people of Ukraine: Schwarz Group donates goods worth EUR 10 million

The Schwarz Group is appalled by what is happening in Ukraine. Especially in such difficult times, it is important to the corporate group to live up to its responsibility as a large retail company. Its top priority now is to provide rapid and unbureaucratic aid. For this reason, the Schwarz Group’s retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland have been collaborating with various aid organizations on site since the outbreak of the crisis and have already contributed EUR 3 million in monetary and in-kind donations. The Group is now stepping up its aid to EUR 10 million: With non-perishable foods, home textiles, hygiene products, and other urgently needed products, it aims to help supply provisions to the refugees in the border regions of Ukraine as quickly as possible.
