STACKIT Organizes First Successful Cloud X Summit

STACKIT, the digital brand of Schwarz IT, organized its first customer and partner event at Bildungscampus in Heilbronn on 28 June. Under the motto “Xperience.Xchange.Xplore.” the guests were able to take a look behind the scenes of the STACKIT cloud.

“We can tackle digitalization better together, that is why we invited customers, partners, and other people interested in cloud solutions to Heilbronn to talk with them about the challenges of digitalization. Our guests benefit from the comprehensive experiences of the companies of Schwarz Group with the sovereign STACKIT cloud solution, which is 100 percent made in Germany,” explains Markus Schwind, Member of Executive Board, Schwarz IT KG.

In addition to presentations by Christian Müller, CEO of Schwarz IT, and Rolf Schumann, CEO of Schwarz Digital, the participants had the opportunity to join breakout sessions to learn about six different cloud-related topics, such as the modernization and implementation of a hybrid cloud for the digital transformation of businesses and public administrations. Furthermore, cybersecurity and compliance, cloud-native applications, migration, and AI in the cloud were addressed. The keynote speech “Ready for the Cloud, Ready for the Future” by Dr. Michael Gebert, President of the European Blockchain Association, was a special highlight. His take on the inevitability of the cloud—in particular real data-sovereign services—was very well received in the plenary session.

“All in all, we managed to exchange many experiences, connect our partners with our customers, and develop strategies for the future among like-minded people on an equal footing during our first Cloud X Summit. We are already looking forward to further events like this in the future,” said Schwind. “We would like to thank all of our guests and especially our partners, who presented the projects they had carried out with us.”
