Joining forces for more animal welfare: Retail companies of the Schwarz Group endorse national animal welfare label
Neckarsulm, 23 January 2023 – At International Green Week (IGW), which was organized recently in Berlin with a focus on the long-term development of the agriculture sector and animal welfare, the retail companies of the Schwarz Group actively participated in the discussions.
Neckarsulm, November 28th 2022 – The future is digital. – Digitalization is becoming increasingly important within the Schwarz Group as well. In order to pave the way toward this digital future, the divisions of the corporate group, the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland, the environmental division PreZero, Schwarz Dienstleistungen, Schwarz IT, and Schwarz Digital are capitalizing on and promoting digital talent.
Neckarsulm, October 28th 2022 – Non-exempt employees at companies belonging to the Schwarz Group will benefit from the state “inflation bonus”: After the German government approved this measure on Tuesday, 25 October 2022, in the wake of sharp increases in consumer prices, they will be the first retail companies to pay out tax-free bonuses to their employees, spending a total of almost EUR 40 million in Germany for this purpose.
Neckarsulm, August 15th 2022 – Over the last three years, the Schwarz Group has built a new residential area in the heart of Heilbronn called Rosenberg Quartier. They are now renting out the apartments, which significantly increase the urban value of the former KACO company premises located between Süd Street, Cäcilien Street, and Rosenberg Street.

Neckarsulm, August 11th 2022 – The Schwarz Gruppe is continuing to expand the range of alternative transport options at its Lidl and Kaufland stores, thus contributing even more to the mobility transition: Effective immediately, the retail divisions of the corporate group are collaborating with nextbike to make bikes available for rent at 18 Lidl and 2 Kaufland stores in North Rhine-Westfalia.
